Sensei Maeghen in the News

Both Global News and the CBC were at 5 Elements recently, doing features on Sensei Maeghen as she prepared for her trip to Worlds in England, which is set to begin on Monday!

For those that missed them when they ran, here they are:

Fall Specials & Registration, Plus WKU Worlds Update

A quick update on everything,

Fall is fast approaching and that means back to school — both in the classroom and in the dojo! We’re wanting to end summer with a bang with some promotions and charge into fall. Classes are starting to fill up quickly, so these deals will be gone sooner than later.

Advanced Camp

We have a couple of spots left for our Advanced Camp which is being held this weekend (August 16-17.) Cost is $220 and includes lunch. This camp will be going over all aspects of tournament competition as well as criteria for belt testing.

Fall Special

Our Fall Special offers unlimited classes for September all the way through to December. The cost is $499 plus tax and is a great opportunity for you or your children to check out a new class and try something different here at 5 Elements.

Free Private Lessons

We’re also offering an amazing deal that includes two free half-hour lessons. This is a perfect chance to get some hands on, in-depth training as well as receiving 25% off of a one year Unlimited Membership.

Please call us at 403.801.8825 or e-mail at if you’re interested in any of these great deals. As always, you can check our Schedule Page to see what classes are currently being offered.

Thanks everyone for the support for Sensei Maeghen’s matches which are happening at the end of the month. This will be Maeghen’s first full contact fight at the World Championship level…if you haven’t yet, wish her luck!

We’re also looking for personal and/or corporate sponsors to help the 5 Elements team. The WKC World Championships is being held October 4-9 in Dublin, Ireland. Unfortunately, travel expenses and lodging can get to be expensive and we’re looking for any support.

If you’re interested in supporting a Canadian world champion and helping her fulfill her dreams, please check out our RallyMe page and consider donating, or share the link to someone who may be interested in a cause far more worthier than making potato salad.
